The head of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, said today from the floor of the Assembly that the government’s budget for 2022 will remain in history as one of the powers with the biggest thefts committed by the government in power.
Berisha said that the government has stolen 122 billion ALL from the budget, 30% more than all salaries received in Albania, while he said that in eight years the government has developed over 280 secret tenders.
“Today the 2022 budget is being discussed here. What was this budget according to official data? It was the budget of the theft of 122 billion lek from these who blacken behind my rail. Figure that comes from the official constitutional institution.
You stole 122 billion ALL, 30% more than all salaries received in Albania. More than all pensions in Albania taken together. In eight years, 280 secret tenders have been held to steal. You gave 30% of the tenders to whoever you wanted without competition. The 2022 budget will go down in history as the budget with the biggest thefts.”
