The Court of Appeal in Tirana has removed the security measures for five IT employees, from the Ministry of Interior and the Department of Public Administration, who are accused of abuse of office.
Since 2021, Albania has fallen prey to cyber attacks. A cyber attack took place on July 15 of this year, which blocked all official state websites and the e-Albania online service platform.
Meanwhile, on September 14, the TIMS system was attacked at all border points of the country. Albania has blamed Iran for these attacks and has severed diplomatic relations with this country.
Confidential data of public figures, from the head of SHISH to the Prime Minister, have been published time and time again by hackers on the “Homeland Justice” website.
