DASH evaluates the work of SPAK for 2022: MPs, ministers and judges have been arrested

The US Department of State has evaluated the work of SPAK, describing it as a new elite entity against corruption and organized crime.

According to DASH, in recent months the organization has arrested former ministers, deputies, judges, police officers, prosecutors, mayors and leaders of organized crime”.

“With the help of the USA, Albania created a Special Anti-Corruption Agency as a new elite entity against corruption and organized crime. After the personal meeting that the Assistant Secretary of DASH – the author of this DipNote, had with the Director of SPAK, Mr. Arben Kraja assured on behalf of the US Department of State that the US will continue to support SPAK even more strongly in building capacities and increasing results in the fight against organized crime, money laundering and high-level corruption.
