Manastirliu meets the German Minister of Health

The Minister of Health and Social Protection Ogerta Manastirliu was received in a bilateral meeting by the Minister of Health of Germany prof. Karl Lauterbach during the official visit to Berlin.

“We agreed on a new cooperation agreement and on the creation of a joint working group between the health institutions of Albania and Germany for further support and deepening of cooperation in the field of health”, Manastirliu said.

The focus of the meeting was the strengthening of cooperation in the field of public health and pharmacology.

Minister of Health of Germany prof. Karl Lauterbach expressed readiness for deepening cooperation in the field of health between the two countries, through joint teams that will immediately start work on mutual exchanges in the field of public health and pharmacology.

During the meeting between the two delegations headed by the respective Ministers of Health, the leaders of the Institute of Public Health and the University of Medicine also participated.
