The Special Prosecutor’s Office has requested a second security measure against Alqi Bllakos, for the Elbasan incinerator. According to confidential sources, SPAK addressed the court with a request for a security measure against Bllakos, 2 weeks ago, but the court rejected SPAK’s request.
However, SPAK has appealed this decision, directing you to the Special Appeal for the approval of this request and the appointment of “prison arrest” against Bllakos, for the charge of corruption. The review of this request has been postponed until tomorrow and the Appeal will come out with a decision whether to approve SPAK’s request for a milder security measure or not against Bllakos.
SPAK’s investigations into the incinerator of Elbasan have aggravated the positions of the former MP Aqi Blako, where in addition to the charge of ‘abuse of duty’, carried out in cooperation, the Special Prosecutor’s Office has also brought against him the charge of ‘corruption’ Sources for ABC inform that after the seizure of the former MP’s computer after his indictment, evidence was found implicating him in the corruption of high officials.
Alqi Blako has exchanged e-mails from his private address with the administrator of the company “Alb tek energy”, Klodian Zoton, informing the latter about the procedure of granting the Elbasan Incinerator with a concession. Referring to the file, he forwarded to Zoto, the e-mails of the officials of the Ministry of Environment on the procedures he had to follow in order to acquire the right to build the Elbasan Incinerator. Referring to the investigations carried out, these contacts were held at the time when Blako was acting as the general secretary in the Ministry of Environment, and the prosecution has doubts that the former deputy has predetermined the race by announcing the winner of the company represented by Zoto.
