Democrats seeks emergency state’s declaration due to floods

The Chairman of the Parliamentary Group of the Democratic Party stated that he has requested that Prime Minister Edi Rama declare the 3 counties affected by the floods, Shkodra, Lezha and Durrës, in a “state of natural disaster”.

In a media conference, Alibeaj said that the three DP representatives of the districts affected by the floods have initiated a request to the Prime Minister to declare a state of natural disaster in the three districts.

Alibeaj said that declaring a state of emergency for 30 days in these 3 counties is necessary, so that the affected citizens are compensated by the government.
