The new “Infectious” hospital at QSUT was opened today after several months in the reconstruction process.
Prime Minister Edi Rama, present at the inauguration ceremony together with the Minister of Health Ogerta Manastirlu, said that the new building is a form of expression of gratitude for the doctors and nurses, for the hard work they did during the pandemic.
As for the latter, Rama described it as a great success story since the hospital staff had to face “the biggest challenge of Albanian medicine since the establishment of the Albanian state”.
