Prime Minister Edi Rama pointed out the achievements of Haour’s Balkans during the meeting of the Albanian government and the government of North Macedonia.
Rama said that the results have been good, however this initiative does not exclude the Berlin Process.
He also touched on European Union funds to deal with the energy crisis, while emphasizing that the two countries should be more ambitious and demanding towards the union.
“I want to emphasize once again that it is time to project with much more strength and ambition in the future beyond the war and get the most today from the persistence and ability to create a more complete synergy with the EU.
The latest support from the EU for the energy crisis is good news, but if we keep in mind that those funds are a reallocation of our countries’ IPA funds, then we should be much more demanding and ambitious towards the EU. It is a half step if we see what we need, not only what we can get, but also what we can give”, said the Prime Minister.
