The Minister of Finance, Delina Ibrahimaj, spoke in the Assembly about the 2023 budget. Ibrahimaj said from the pulpit that the budget was created in a time of crisis and covers all the needs of the citizens.
According to her, in the 2023 budget, 50 billion ALL have been allocated for social support. Ibrahimaj emphasized that the Albanian economy is stable, having successfully faced two crises, the Covid-19 pandemic and the energy crisis.
The minister said that Albania has the lowest inflation in the entire region.
“We have only 6.8% compared to other countries that have double-digit inflation. We have not changed the price of electricity for any group of the population”, she said.
