The head of the pedagogue’s union, Sander Kovaçi, warned today that there may be an escalation of the protest.
He did not rule out the possibility of a hunger strike, while he said that on Monday, October 31, at 11:00, the lecturers will hold a national protest in front of the university campus.
“On Monday, national protest in front of the university building, 11:00 am. The hunger strike is a demand of some trade unionists, I personally have not expressed this wish.
Being in these conditions when there was no reaction until now, we came to the stage of a boycott so far, and now we have sent a request to the government, and to create a communication bridge.
“We don’t want to use the last option, that of a strike, but it can be used to put the right pressure on the authorities to react constructively and understand the importance of this boycott,” Kovaçi said.
