Former director of ARRSH in SPAK for abuse of duty

The former director of ARRSH Sonila Qato appeared today at the premises of SPAK regarding the investigations for the tender of the Kardhiq-Delvina road.

It is learned that the Special Prosecutor’s Office against Corruption and Organized Crime has communicated the charge of Abuse of Duty.

Qato resigned from the post of director of the Albanian Road Authority on September 19.

The Supreme State Audit reported the former director of the Road Authority for criminal prosecution in the Prosecutor’s Office for abuse of 5 million euros with the tender of the Kardhiq-Delvina road.

After the audit of the tender, the KLSH requested an in-depth criminal investigation against Ms. Qato, accusing her of having unjustly disqualified the lowest bid submitted by a company.
