Pedagogues’ protest, Enkeleda Olldashi: The forum for “higher public education as a national priority”

The participant in the teachers’ protest, Enkeleda Olldashi, expressed in the ABC Live studio with journalist Sibora Bitri, the protest program for the following days.

According to her, tomorrow at 11:00 a.m., a forum will be organized in the university square with the motto “higher public education as a national priority”. The purpose of the forum will be to invite all academics, also members of the academy of sciences, members of civil society, and in this forum, to create what is called a ‘university platform’, platforms are not only made by the government, but also by society civilians, all those who are contributors, will be the signatories, let’s do something for the university’.

For lecturer Enkeleda Olldashi, the protest did not start on October 17, but since 2019, in the commissions for increasing the grant, which was related to the support that the state should provide, that is, the protest has continued on an institutional journey and at the end of September we are launched a petition.
