Speaking about the local elections that will take place next year, the head of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, said that the opposition should be as united as possible.
In his speech at the press conference, Meta said that he is optimistic that the situation will improve thanks to the joint action of the opposition.
“The opposition must be as united and synchronized as possible. Edi Rama’s biggest investment is the corruption and division of the opposition. I am completely optimistic that the situation will come and improve thanks to our joint action and in this direction in addition to their reaction, protests and support.
Let’s not forget that in a few months we will have local elections. This is a positive moment as political pluralism will be established. Today, everything is controlled by a single party and citizens are left at the mercy of monist leaders.
The Freedom Party has the duty to contribute to the victory of the opposition but also to turn the Municipal Councils into city parliaments
We must destroy this sect, which is a destructive sect for the country and seeks to kill the faith of the citizens that this is their country and that they are masters of their own destinies. We must understand the importance of speed and coordination in our work, which requires higher rates than so far”, said Meta.
