The chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has denounced in a press conference the leakage of a large number of data from the Memex system. Berisha, in his statement, announced that 105,000 names of Albanians who are suspected or under investigation by the police for various crimes have been published from the 30-year work file of the state police.
Likewise, the chief democrat stated, citing his sources, that since July 15, not a single measure has been taken to protect the systems. According to Berisha, the facts show that the Albanian systems were hacked not only by Iranians, but also by other “regional, European and governmental” hackers.
