Albanian government has decided to not apply the measure of increasing electricity price for household consumers.
Prime Minister Edi Rama announced this Friday on social networks that the 800 KW/H threshold will not come into force tomorrow, on October 1.
“Today I have positive news, on September 1, when we put the threshold , the demand from KESH was 17 thousand kwh, the demand today is 11 thousand kwh.
With this significant decrease, the lowering of temperatures has played an important role, but also the approach of family subscribers to save energy. We have had improvements in Fierza, where the main source of energy is, as a result of the rain.
In these conditions and looking at the projections to ease the actual burden on all families, we decided that the application of the 800 kwh bandage will not be applied on October 1”, said PM Rama.
