The person in the photo is Remal Rada, former RENEA officer who, together with his friend, Elton Hithi, was caught with a sniper and other weapons in the car by the police in Tirana.
Rada has served for a long time in the ranks of the State Police, in the RENEA department and left his post about 3 months ago, while there are strong suspicions that the former policeman and his friend would commit a murder.

1 sniper firearm, 1 pistol firearm, an automatic weapon magazine, 2 pistol combs, a quantity of combat ammunition, two pairs of terminal night binoculars and a police document are seized.
The 2 citizens who were carrying weapons and illegal items, in the vehicle they were driving and in their homes, were handcuffed.
During the search of the vehicle with driver RR and passenger EH, the Police services found and seized, as material evidence, a sniper firearm, foreign license plates, a means of identification and those of the Police and a control panel for opening and closing the license plates of the vehicle.
Following the search, a firearm, a pistol, two pairs of binoculars and military ammunition were found in the residences of these citizens, which were seized, as material evidence, together with the vehicle.
The materials were passed to the Prosecutor’s Office, for further procedural actions, for the criminal offenses “Carrying without permission and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition” and “Carrying uniform without right”.
