The opposition has submitted to the Assembly the request for the establishment of the Commission of Inquiry for strategic investments. The purpose of this Commission is to control the implementation of the law on strategic investments.
The request was signed by 31 deputies of the Democratic parliamentary group. Democrat MP, Gazment Bardhi through a post on Facebook has indicated that the request was submitted today.
“The Law on Strategic Investments was transformed by the Government into a law on the abuse of public property. Together with a group of colleagues, we submitted today the request for the establishment of an investigative commission to control the implementation of the law on strategic investments. Albanians will see how public property is being distributed to the families of the ministers, to the friends of Edi Rama and to a handful of oligarchs near him.”
