RENEA Special Forces divers have stopped Monday, after 6 days, the search for the lifeless body of 10-year-old S. Laska, who drowned on Tuesday last week in the waters of the Fan River in Mirdita.
During the 6 days, the searches in the river and the Reps HPP did not give any results. Only local FNSH police, firefighters and area residents are currently on the ground monitoring the river banks. However, the child was taken by the strong flow of water in an attempt to get the ball that had fallen into the river.
The incident happened on Tuesday afternoon and threatened to take on greater proportions during the attempt of the brother 3 years older to save the 10-year-old, but he did not succeed, risking his life.

On their part, family members and relatives of the minor have appealed to the state to help with the condition of the body.
“God willing, it will be found, but the state should take measures, not 5 policemen, but about 30, because the river is very strong, it can take a car”, said Fatmir Ndreca, the uncle of the minor few days ago.
