Prime Minister Edi Rama has held Wednesday a meeting with Albanian exporters and importers, where he made a strong warning to all companies that hide the salaries of employees. During the meeting, Rama said that all salaries of employees should be transparent, otherwise the abusing companies will have to deal with the Prosecutor’s Office.
Furthermore, the head of government said that if there are businesses that do not declare wages they will not be tolerated by the tax investigation unit, but will be hit.
“We were looking at the entire salary statement and only from the salary review as a result of the request to call to bring to light more of the salary, we know that salaries in Albania in the private I sector are partly in the light part are invisible, we have an average salary increase of go thousand ALL. We will continue to ask for this.
The unit we have set up has entered into investigations. I call on everyone to put the salary in the declaration of salaries because we will strike without any tolerance where we will catch. If you get upset with the salaries, from the tax investigation then they will go to the prosecution.
We cannot talk about low pensions and meanwhile be tolerated that pensions are hit by non-payment of insurance for the respective salary“, said Rama.
