The parliamentary group, Taulant Balla, has clarified the discussions within the parliamentary group, where the name of the new President was also discussed. According to Balla, the MPs in the parliamentary group have been asked to make concrete proposals for the new name of the President, even if confidential.
“Every SP MP during the weekend must be present in the territory and take decisions related to the commitments related to the following week. March 31 is the next session of the Assembly, we discussed the issues on the agenda.
The day is approaching that in the conference of chairmen there should be a calendar for the election of the president. No later than 60 days, ie no later than May 24, the process for the election of the president should have started. Our wish is for this to be an open process and together with me as the chairman of the parliamentary group will be Spiropali and Gjiknuri as mandated to consult with other parliamentary groups that are interested in a constructive dialogue.
The MPs have been asked to come up with concrete proposals, confidential if they want in order for us to have ready in a short time a list of those who could be possible candidacies”, said Balla.
