Prime Minister Edi Rama has again focused on the energy crisis and the rise in prices of products as a result of the ongoing war in Ukraine.
Rama said that this war has affected the entire economic chain, leaving out neither Albania nor the countries of the region.
“It affects us and it affects prices because the war was started by an aggressive force. They have become more expensive like oil, gas, energy and so on. Up to inputs for agriculture. Russia and Ukraine accounted for the largest share of these supplies. “This war is affecting all supply chains, which is causing prices to rise.” said Rama.
“This is a disaster that is outside this country but it is affected. We will be close to those who are most in need. We have made a commitment where the first elements of the energy crisis have just appeared. We will be by your side and by every family. To compensate for the price so that no family feels the blow on the bill. ” stressed the Prime Minister.
Referring to the assistance that the government has undertaken with the resistance package, Rama stressed that more than half a million people are being assisted.
“We will support more than half a million people for three months in a row. “Even more than a year ago, tax-free oil farmers, pensioners indexing pensions.” Prime Minister Rama added.
