Two massive explosions in Shkodra

Shkodra police have provided details about the two consecutive explosions that shook the northern capital this morning.

The blue uniforms announce that around 02:20 at the door of the supermarket owned by Florenc Markut on “Bujar Bishanaku” street, as well as at the door of another private business, a clothing boutique owned by the citizen Xh.B. in the street “28 Nentori”, explosives were placed.

Only material damage was reported as a result of the explosion. Immediately, the investigative group and the prosecution are at the scene and the gathering of evidence continues, in order to fully clarify.

Sources say that the building in which Florenc Markut’s supermarket is located is owned by the Lici family. Meanwhile, the building in which the other business is located is owned by Xhemal Bushati, the former candidate of the Democratic Party for the March 6 elections.
