The meeting of the Presidency comes after the resignation of Lulzim Basha from the post of chairman of the Democratic Party. Basha announced the decision two days ago at the meeting of three important structures of the party, the Parliamentary Group, the Presidency and the College of Presidents.
Work has already begun on uniting the Democrats in the Democratic Party. Enkelejd Alibaj has announced a draft resolution, in which, among other things, he asks the deputies of the Re-establishment to Sali Berisha to distance himself from the race to take over the leadership of the party. Such a thing was not well received by the deputies alongside Berisha.
