Protesters clash with police after oil price hike

The protest of the citizens of Korça has become tense. Journalist Roland Beqiraj reports that at one point there were clashes between protesters and police forces, as the latter tried to free traffic.

Meanwhile, citizens continue with their calls for lowering the price of fuel, but also other products. Currently the protest is concentrated in the center of Korça, while it is expected to spread to other areas of the city.

Earlier today, another episode was recorded in Korça. The MP of the PD Re-establishment Group, Edmond Spaho, who joined this protest, clashed with the police forces.

Meanwhile, in parallel with what is happening in Korça, another protest is taking place in Tirana. The students of the Agricultural University in Tirana marched towards the center of Tirana, where they initially stopped in front of the Ministry of Education. They will join the protest in front of the Prime Minister’s Office at 17:00. Tomorrow at 11:00 in Tirana a more massive protest has been announced. /abcnews.al
