A group of citizens from Shkodra have blocked the road in the direction of Lezha and Tirana for several minutes in protest of the increase in the price of fuel and food.
Albania is facing a rapid rise in food and fuel prices like never before. Currently a liter of oil or gasoline is sold for 265 ALL in the country’s fuels, a situation that seems to block the economy if it continues like this.
As for food, they have risen in price by almost 7% last month alone according to INSTAT, while growth is expected to be higher in March.
