Prime Minister Edi Rama this Tuesday morning was in Kruja, where the EU project for the Ethnographic Museum was presented as well as grants for residents and the bonus of revitalization of old houses, in function of the family economy and tourism.
In his speech, Rama said that within this grant there will be a new financial support for every family that owns an old apartment with historical and cultural values.
“We together with the European Commission in order to transform a crisis and the consequences of an earthquake caused by the earthquake into a series of new opportunities for earthquake victims for children and young people. Together with the European Commission, we have the opportunity for an end that, step by step, will have its own initiatives.
Those who have inherited dwellings in historic areas and with cultural heritage values we are ready today to build a common road where the government will fund their projects and they will benefit from government grants and the European Commission. These citizens will benefit and be able to create self-employment for the family and tourist and cultural values for the area where they live.
We will finance this program year after year, but we must have a concrete reaction from the residents to build the right models after we have entered a non-return route regarding the development fund in the rural sector. “My appeal to the inhabitants of these areas in Kruja, Shkodra, Gjirokastra, Shkodra and wherever there are such values, it is important that they get involved and do what the path of Europeanization and integration teaches me every day.” said Rama
