Rama: A new era begins in Kukes, investments in Rinas airport

Prime Minister Edi Rama was in Kukes today after the resumption of flights at the airport. Rama promised that within this mandate, Kukes airport will be a reference point not only for the area, but also further, describing it as a new era.

Immediately, during his speech, the head of government stopped at Rinas airport, where he stressed that investments will start for the runway and the new terminal.

“Tirana Airport today is very competitive. I believe that with the next move of the government to remove the border tax there will be another reduction of prices for citizens. What is worth noting here is employment. Today the company WizzAir has 200 employees and the plan is for 500 employees.

We will continue investing. At the airport of Tirana will be massive based on the agreement we have made with the concessionaire finally Albanian. Investments will be made for the runway, for the new terminal to cope with all this increased influx.
