This Tuesday, the joint meeting was held between the democratic MPs supporting and MP Gazment Bardhi. Present at the joint table are 43 MPs, where some of them, due to commitments abroad, participated through online platforms.
According to him, it has been agreed that the focus of this session will be early elections and electoral reform.
” In the meeting with about 43 deputies of the Democratic Party of the Alliance for Change, we set a part of the national agenda for the parliamentary session, in the process of the opposition’s work in this session, which will be the temporary free elections.
The advancement of the electoral reform has been set as the priority of the work of all the opposition MPs, for all who feel themselves to be in the opposition by making the new electoral reform commission with clear tasks. It is unacceptable that the opposition has denounced the election massacre of April 25 and May 14. It is unacceptable not to advance this initiative.
Secondly, I believe we all agree that this opposition is facing the most corrupt government, every day we are faced with scandals of this government. For this reason, we have decided to set up 3 investigative commissions, first for PPP and health issues. We are all witnesses together that the prosecution has not yet finalized the investigations on these issues.
The investigation commission will aim to help the prosecution. We will request an investigative commission on the issue of personal data of citizens, or serious suspicions of interference in the YIMS system.
Thirdly, we are familiar with and are familiar with data every day about how public officials decide to enrich their relatives with public funds, so an investigative commission will be required for the conflict of interest and abuses of the law, said Bardhi.
