Armando Papa was arrested during the police mega-operation in Tirana, as he was transporting 41 kilograms and 700 grams of heroin.
Also, his accomplice, citizen R. G., a resident of Sukth, was declared wanted.
The police, after providing information that a large amount of heroin narcotic substance was being transported in a “Benz” type vehicle, located and chased it.
The vehicle was stopped near the airport roundabout. During the control, a box with 62 packages containing heroin was found in the trunk, which were seized as material evidence together with the vehicle and a cutting tool.
“Specialists for the investigation of narcotics in the Tirana Local Police Directorate, in cooperation with the Prosecutor’s Office of the Judicial District of Tirana, continue the in-depth investigations to identify other citizens implicated in this criminal activity. The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Tirana Judicial District Court for further action”, informed the Police.
