Albania has been hit by a second wave of coronavirus.
During the last 24 hours, 23 new cases of coronavirus have been confirmed, bringing the total number to 1,099.
ISHP confirmed 4 new cases in Lushnje, 6 in Mat, 1 in Durrës and 12 in Tirana.
All new cases have been infected by contacts from Tirana.

In the last 24 hours, 28 citizens have been recovered, bringing the number to 851 since the beginning of the epidemic.

The Ministry of Health and Social Protection appeals to citizens to be careful. Maintain physical distance over 1.5 meters. When physical distance is not achieved, the use of a mask is necessary.
