A 21-year-old man has ended up in handcuffs this Tuesday after he was caught transporting migrants to Montenegro.
Citizen Orjad Tarja was caught in flagrant at the roundabout of Hoti, Malësi e Madhe, while transporting 3 citizens from Pakistan by vehicle, with the intention of illegally crossing the border.
Afterwards, the procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Shkodër Judicial District Court, for further action, for the criminal offense “Aiding illegal border crossing”.
“Border Police Services of Hani i Hoti, in cooperation with those of the Malësi e Madhe Police Station, from field controls to prevent and attack illegalities, have identified another case of transporting immigrants, against payment, to cross illegally the border, a case for which the citizen O. T., 21 years old, resident in the village of Barbullush, Shkodër, was arrested.
This citizen was caught red-handed at the Hoti roundabout, Malësi e Madhe, while transporting 3 citizens from Pakistan in a vehicle, with the intention of illegally crossing the border”, announced the law enforcement.
