“Had a phone conversation with Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama. Spoke about the fight against Russian invaders. We appreciate the practical help and support of Albania in this difficult time.
We are doing everything to end the war”, writes Zelensky on Twitter.
Prime Minister Edi Rama reacted after the President of Ukraine, where he revealed the phone call between the two leaders in the context of the situation created due to the occupation by Russia.
Rama writes that he has expressed the admiration and solidarity of the Albanian people in Albania and Kosovo, with him and the Ukrainian resistance, as well as the full will to do everything we can in our small size, for Ukraine to triumph in its freedom-loving war.
“Today I had a phone conversation from President Zelensky, who thanked me for everything Albania is doing in these tragic days for its people, for Europe and for the whole world, starting from our role as co-host with the US in the Security Council, to aid data on the Ukrainian army, as well as intensive engagement in diplomatic channels with important partners, in support of Ukraine.
“I expressed to the Ukrainian president all the admiration and solidarity of the Albanian people in Albania and Kosovo, with him and the Ukrainian resistance, as well as the full will to do everything we can on our small scale, for Ukraine to triumph in its freedom-loving war.” , writes Rama.
