“Vote buying”, Kim appeals to institutions to do their job

The Ambassador of the United States of America, Yuri Kim, reacted this Wednesday regarding the political situation created in our country before the May 14 elections. In a statement to journalists, Kim also commented on the latest information about vote buying a few days before Election Day.

The American diplomat stated that Albanian citizens should be guaranteed the right to vote and asked the relevant institutions to do their duty and react to any violation by political subjects.

“Everyone should be guaranteed the right to vote. We have seen reports in the last few days about vote buying, institutions doing their job and reacting to every political entity. If someone says that they are buying votes for a political party, then this political party must take measures”, she said.
