On the 15th anniversary of the declaration of Kosovo’s Independence, the Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, was awarded the title of “Honorary Citizen” by the Municipality of Prizren. The title was granted by the mayor of Prizren Municipality, Shaqir Totaj, who said that Veliaj is an example of a modern leader who has transformed Tirana.
In his speech, Veliaj expressed his excitement for receiving the title of “Honorary Citizen” and said that only united we can move forward, promising to contribute more to the city of Prizren.
