This date was decreed by the president of the Republic, Bajram Begaj, after the meeting in the presidency with the chief commissioner, Ilirjan Celibashi.
The President announces that this date has been considered the best alternative that reconciles the need for the preparation and development of a regular election campaign based on the circumstances and the load that the summer season brings to the municipality of Himara.
