Embassy of the United States of America in Tirana commemorated this Tuesday the Day of Sanctification of Mother Teresa
Through a social networks statement, the Embassy pointed out that today the world celebrates the life and extraordinary work of Mother Teresa and this day reminds us of the value of charity, volunteerism and compassion for others.
“Today, on International Day of Charity, the world celebrates the incredible life and work of Mother Teresa (Anjezë Gonxhe Bojaxhiu), the famous Albanian missionary, nun, Nobel Peace Prize winner, and saint. Albania also celebrates Mother Teresa Beatification Day today.
This day reminds us of the value of charity, volunteering, and compassion for others. It’s a reminder of the incredible impact of love and caring for others, following the example of Mother Teresa, who devoted her life to those in need”, underlined the American Embassy in Tirana.
