Two people have been criminally prosecuted after they were caught fishing with tools that produce electric current in the lake of Shkodra. Checks were carried out in the village of Kamicë, where the two persons were fishing with mechanisms, which are prohibited due to the danger they pose.
Following the procedural actions, proceedings were initiated against a 45-year-old and a 39-year-old for the criminal offense “Forbidden fishing”. As material evidence, the boat and the electrical mechanisms used for fishing were seized.
