Three people have been arrested by Tirana police and another who has been described as the head of the criminal fraud group has been declared wanted.
During the “Replay” codenamed operation, 34-year-old Afrim Radici, 41-year-old Gezim Çelanji and 22-year-old Qazim Vata were arrested.
According to the police, citizens in cooperation with each other tried to benefit a large amount of money, through fraud, from a businessman, presenting themselves as high officials of state institutions.
On the other hand, a 40-year-old man is wanted, suspected of being the organizer of this fraud scheme.
These citizens have tried to deceive a businessman, in order to benefit from the amount of 35,000 euros, presenting themselves as senior officials of the institutions, with different names.
As material evidence, 2 vehicles and 5 mobile devices were seized. Meanwhile, the materials were passed to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction in Tirana for further procedural actions.
