A 37-year-old woman was criminally prosecuted by the Tirana police after she was accused of using her minor children to beg and verbally threatened the social worker.
According to the police, within the framework of preventing cases of exploitation of children on the street, it has become possible to solve this case. This citizen was found on “Dritan Hoxha” street, together with her 4 minor children, whom she had taken out to beg.
To make things worse, the 37-year-old threatened and tried to intimidate the social worker. Controls against this illegality will continue throughout the capital.
Tirana’s Local Police Directorate invites citizens to call the toll-free number 112 if they find cases of children in street situations.
