Elbasan police have arrested three citizens as part of the anti-drug operation “Porosia”, as announced this Monday morning.
During the operation, about 22 kg of suspected narcotic substance cannabis sativa, 2 shotguns and military ammunition were seized, which were found during the search in the apartment of the wanted citizen N.M.
Also, during the controls, the police seized 22 kg of cannabis, 2 shotguns and military ammunition. Meanwhile, the procedural materials passed to the Prosecution, for further actions.
“Following successive strikes against the criminal activities of the production and sale of narcotics (some of them carried out within the mega-operations “The Network” and “The Temple”), as well as as a result of a criminal proceeding followed with proactive methods, in cooperation with the Prosecutor’s Office of Elbasan, based on the information provided by the specialists for Narcotics Investigation of DVP Elbasan, during the year 2023, these specialists, in collaboration with the services of the Special Operational Force of DVP Elbasan, successfully organized and finalized the police operation anti-drug coded “Order”.
In the framework of this operation, citizens S.M., 59 years old, Y.B., 47 years old and F.B., 35 years old, all three residents of Fier, were arrested for the criminal offense “Production and sale of narcotics”, and citizen N.M. was declared wanted. , 33 years old, resident in the village of Panaja, Vlorë, for the criminal offenses “Production and sale of narcotics”, “Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition” and “Unauthorized production and possession of hunting and sports weapons” . The work for the capture of the 33-year-old continues.
The investigative structures of the DVP Elbasan, in cooperation with the Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction Elbasan, and with the investigative structures of the dvp Vlorë and Fier, continue the in-depth investigations for the full legal documentation of the criminal activities of these citizens, activities which are suspected to be spread over several counties”, announced the police.
