Law enforcement has arrested three people in connection with the incident that happened on Monday in Tirana, where the scaffolding of a building under construction fell, injuring two passers-by.
Police revealed that the engineer of the company that dealt with security, the owner of the company and the worker who fell on the scaffolding were arrested. On their part, the two injured are in the hospital, under the care of doctors.
Meanwhile, the investigative team is working to clarify the circumstances of the event.
“On 22.01.2024, around 10:10, on the boulevard “Gjergj Fishta”, the scaffolding of a building under construction collapsed, and as a result, 2 citizens (passers-by) H. L., about 70 years old, and I. Sh., about 45 years old.
The building engineer, citizen K.S., and workers N.S. and A.P. were escorted to the Police premises for further procedural actions”, said the police./abcnews.al
