Three people have been handcuffed by Durrës police as perpetrators of several thefts, as announced this Wednesday morning.
Law enforcement revealed that the arrested, aged 26, 32 and 55, acted as a group and kept watch on the homes of businessmen and citizens with public functions, so that they could commit the thefts when there were no people in them.
They used ladders and ropes to climb the floors of the buildings and then enter the apartments. On its part, police announced that the three arrested have committed seven thefts, among them the apartment of a judge.
However, the investigations started after the denunciation of some citizens that money and valuables had been stolen from their homes, in different neighborhoods of the city.
Meanwhile, about 115,000 ALL, jewelry and other stolen accessories, as well as clothes used by the arrested during the thefts, 2 mobile phones and 3 vehicles, were seized.

-on 05.06.2023, they stole 3 bags and 3,000 euros from the apartment of a judge;
-on 16.10.2022, they stole 40,000 ALL and 2 pieces of gold jewelry from an apartment;
-on 21.01.2023, they stole 11,000 euros and jewelry worth 5,000 euros from an apartment;
– on 09.05.2023, they stole 1,000,000 ALL and jewelry worth 200,000 ALL from a flat;
-on 15.07.2023, they stole 4,000 euros and 150,000 ALL from an apartment;
-on 31.08.2023, they stole 1,500 euros from an apartment;
-on 30.09.2023, they stole 100,000 ALL and gold jewelry from an apartment.
