The State Police announces that it has arrested one of the persons suspected of having participated in the murder of Gentian Bejtja in Fushë Krujë. He also accompanied another, who is suspected to be involved in the crime.
According to the police, the arrested person is Ilir Beqaraj alias Brahimi, alias Mançellari, while Edison Haxhiu accompanied him.
During the investigation, it was found that the perpetrators approached Gentjan Bejtja’s apartment with a black “Land Rover Discover” brand vehicle and after committing the murder, they left with this same vehicle on the Larushkë – Thumanë road axis, after passing overpass of Fushë Kruja, they turned left and in the village of Hasan they burned the vehicle above.
From the investigation, it was proven that the perpetrators left in a black “Golf” type vehicle, without a license plate on the back, following the interior from the place where the vehicle was burned in the direction of the main road Thumanë-Fushë Krujë, they deviated to the right at the crossing of Fushë Krujë and left towards the village of Bubq, Krujë.
From the analysis of the information received by the police intelligence as well as the surveillance and taking of the security cameras, it became possible to identify the “Golf” type vehicle with license plate AB960GG, owned by Edison Haxhiu, born in Milot and resident in Tirana. It also turned out that this vehicle was also used by Ilir Beqaraj alias Brahimi, alias Mançellari, born in Milot and resident in Tirana./abcnews.al
