The court session in charge of former Prime Minister Sali Berisha is postponed. The reason was the request of the defense lawyers, who asked more time, to familiarize themselves with the documents and evidence presented by the Prosecutor’s Office.
On Wednesday, at 11:00, a hearing session will be held in charge of former Prime Minister Sali Berisha for the approval of the Prosecutor’s Office’s request for “house arrest” for the investigative file on the privatization of the former “Partizani” sports complex.
This request was made last Friday, one day after the Assembly decided with 75 votes in favor for immunity removal.
Sali Berisha was represented by his two lawyers. Likewise, the lawyers once again asked for the dismissal of Judge Irena Gjoka, claiming that there is a conflict of interest with the former prime minister, who, according to them, dismissed her from office.
