Prime Minister Edi Rama says that the European Union should come out with a second statement, condemning the attack of the Kosovo Police, where one officer was killed and two others were injured.
In a press conference, Rama said that what kind of investigation the European Union is waiting for, when Serbia declared a day of mourning for the terrorists who carried out the attack in Banjska of Zvecan.
“I want to express a serious concern, as never before in these 10 years, about the dangerousness of security in Kosovo.
We heard from the spokesperson of Brussels that there cannot be a second statement without waiting for the investigations.
We would have agreed if Serbia had distanced itself from the criminal group and had immediately announced the opening of a serious and independent investigation.
But unfortunately, the Republic of Serbia chose the honor by declaring 1 day of national mourning.
What investigation is expected the EU? By whom? From the justice bodies in Kosovo?
Of course, we would agree, but we did not hear the Brussels spokesperson say this. Isn’t the EU itself investigating unilaterally and independently?
But we didn’t hear that from the spokesperson either.
