Arta Vorpsi has been sworn before the notary as a member of the Constitutional Court.
In the meantime, Vorpsi has informed the KED, the Parliament and President Ilir Meta about this vow.
Vorpsi action comes after yesterday’s decree of Meta, for the appointment of Marsida Xhaferllari as a member of the Constitutional Court.
ABC News has learned from government sources that the procedure has been reconciled with international partners and in support of a recommendation from the Venice Commission, where she regards to the vows as simple ceremonial acts.
According to Article 129 of the Constitution of the Republic of Albania, a member of the Constitutional Court is mandated to this post, sworn before the President of the Republic./abcnews.al
