On Friday morning, in the Special Prosecutor’s Office (SPAK), the persons who have the security measure “obligation to appear”, in connection with the investigations on the sterilization of surgical equipment, were presented.
Arben Gjata, Pertef Mersini, Genc Burazeri and Naile Ajazi were seen outside SPAK premises. GjKKO has set the security measure “mandatory appearance” for them and they must appear on the first and last Friday of every month.
Among the eight people accused of the sterilization concession, there are also the former Deputy Minister of Health, Klodian Rjepaj, and the businessman who won the tender for the sterilization concession, Ilir Rrapaj, who have been sentenced to prison.
Both were arrested by order of SPAK for the concession worth 100 million euros.
