Chairman of the Parliamentary Group in the Socialist Party (SP), Taulant Balla has called this Thursday on the opposition MPs to return to Parliament in order to carry on with the discussions regarding the ombudsman’s election and justice reform.

In his speech, Balla underlined that their boycott right after the elections is understandable, but the truth is that they should look for the defeat in themselves and not in the opponents.

“I think that always the loser puts the blame on the opponent and doesn’t look at what he did wrong, it’s crazy. Let them continue to insist on the same. The Assembly started the session with the approval of two important agreements

The first one is related to an investment that gives Shkodra a new and beautiful connection with Ulcinj, the Bridge over Bun gives many opportunities and a new approach to tourism. Considering Shkodra to be very responsible for the work we have to do, we have with the vote for this agreement and the next point is another agreement with Germany that is related to most of the municipalities to improve the road infrastructure.

I think that we have started this first session with two important bills and I believe that my appeal and why the opposition started work with this boycott, my call is for the opposition to return to work in the assembly because we have to work together on a number of issues. for important issues such as electoral reform and to finish in time some SP proposals related to electoral reform.

My appeal is also for the election of the ombudsman, where the opposition cannot hold his election hostage for the role he has for the citizens. From Monday we ask the opposition, since the constitution imposes a majority on us, we must sit for the candidate”, stressed Balla.
