Shooting in Durres, man killed near train tracks

A 38-year-old man was shot to death this Wednesday morning by unidentified persons in Katund area of Sukth, near the train tracks.  Police announced that 38-year-old Fatjon Dervishi was immediately sent to the hospital to receive medical help, but he could not survive his injuries.

After the shots, the police services immediately arrived at the scene, while two groups of the Tirana FNSH went to their aid.

On its part, the investigative group, in cooperation with the Prosecutor, are working to clarify the circumstances of the event, with the aim of identifying and apprehending the author/s.

Meanwhile, the police services have set up checkpoints and combing the area continues.
