The Supreme Court has determined the Special Court as competent to examine the request for a special permit for Fredi Beleri.
Journalist Ermal Vija reports that the decision was taken in the consultation room by judges Sander Simonaj, Sokol Binaj and Ilir Panda.
Beleri requests permission to be sworn in as the elected president of Himara. Earlier, the Special Court rejected his request for special leave. This Tuesday, a session against Beleri is being held in the Special Court, which continues behind closed doors because the witness Arsen Rama, who cooperated with the prosecution and exposed the vote-buying scheme, will be questioned.
